A driver cannot break hardware - a power surge or you dribbling into it can however. Drivers are software only, and are likely to never actually go near the hardware itself.

Well smarty-pants, I hope you had the brains to RMA the card right? Oh, btw, software will not break a video card. Only a penciled neck geek or a New Orleans pimp would say something as stupid as that. Frank

Again, what right do you have to ask for this information? You do not work for Microsoft and you opted out of the beta program. Also, it could be under NDA for him to show you any proof that he is part of the beta program. So, stop asking users about this. You can be very ANNOYING!!!!!

Stopping a device from working is entirely different to the device actually breaking..........even new hardware can 'break', then it's RMA time.......
-- Jane, not plain ;) 64bit enabled ;) Batteries not included. Braincell on vacation.

A device to stop working under the OS itself. Uninstall the driver, and the hardware is in the SAME state as you first bought it. A driver cannot physically damage your hardware OK?
